Cacti of the Southwest

Hello to you all- I am happy to say that I have finished editing over 1,000 pics from the Horn Wedding. On this trip I got to shoot a lot of cacti at the Hermosa Inn. Thought I would share some of these with you all. The sky is such a deep blue in Arizona.

My friend Emily (who's wedding I will be shooting on Coronado Island, CA in May) and I also drove to the Grand Canyon the day after the wedding.

WHOA- that was my first time and you cannot imaging the depth of this canyon. I am deathly afraid of heights and needless to say all of the look out areas were covered in ICE. All I could think about was me slipping over the edge and plummeting to a very long fall down the canyon. this was my favorite for the trip. One thing I learned on this was to get there a little earlier. Once the sun has started the depths of the canyon are already dark- duh...
